Starcraft 2 beta question

Well, I just got invited to participate in the beta and a question popped into my head.

Why?

Is there a second wave of invites going out or something? Have people been progressively invited since the beta came out?

Just thought I'd ask.

    Uhh, I don't know. I was invited too. I played it but it's too hard for me. I get rushed in freakin first minute.
